The restaurant is on the B1 floor of the Yuanta Securities building, which can be slightly tricky to find at first, but the building directory makes it easy once you're inside.

Parking is available in the building garage with 120 minutes of complimentary validation. Additional time costs 10,000 KRW per 10 minutes, with a maximum charge of 50,000 KRW – good to know if you're driving.

The upscale interior makes an immediate impression as you enter. An open kitchen is visible right away, and seeing the immaculate organization gave me instant confidence in their hygiene and management standards. What sets this Korean restaurant in Yeouido apart is that every seat is in a completely private room – your privacy is absolutely guaranteed.

The restaurant features 20 private rooms that can accommodate up to 20 guests total. Different room sizes are available depending on your party size, making it ideal for engagement dinners, business meetings, family gatherings, anniversaries, and more. We were seated in a two-person room with generous table spacing and soft ambient lighting that made conversation easy and comfortable.

WOOARA Yeouido offers several course options. From the Signature Course to options A, B, and C, pricing varies based on the amount of Hanwoo beef included. We ordered the B Course with 90g of beef for two people.

Before our course began, the manager carefully asked about any dietary restrictions. When I mentioned a dairy allergy, she checked with the chef, brought the menu back, and explained each dish one by one. Any items containing dairy were swapped for alternatives. This level of attentive care really impressed me.

Before the formal course began, they presented all the fresh ingredients that would be used – Hanwoo beef, seafood, vegetables. Being able to see everything firsthand built both anticipation and trust in the quality.

First Course: Chawanmushi
A silky egg custard topped with sweet shrimp arrived first. The melt-in-your-mouth texture was exquisite, setting the perfect tone as an opening appetizer.

Second Course: Four Bite-Sized Preparations
Four small dishes arrived on a single plate, and they guided us through the proper eating order. Starting with a seaweed tart, the standout was the tenderloin tempura topped with truffle. The crispy batter paired with the subtle truffle aroma created an elegant flavor. Seasoned Hanwoo tartare on brioche was refreshing, and the pastry filled with sweet shrimp and lobster was both crispy and savory.

Third Course: Tuna Baby Cabbage Roll
Served with yuzu soy dipping sauce, the sweet-tart sauce enhanced both the tender tuna and the crisp cabbage. The bright flavors were perfect for stimulating the appetite.

Fourth Course: Truffle Corn Dish
A bowl containing spinach, mushrooms, and crumble was mixed together to release subtle truffle aromatics with a beautifully smooth texture.

Fifth Course: Abalone
Tender abalone served with zucchini and braised radish. The sauce balance was excellent, really highlighting the abalone's natural chewiness.

Sixth Course: Charcoal-Grilled Tilefish over Wild Chervil Rice
Charcoal-grilled tilefish was placed atop wild chervil rice, then broth made from the fish bones was poured over. Mixing the rice, fish, and broth created a moist, savory combination that was outstanding.

Seventh Course: Perilla Oil Octopus & Hanwoo Noodles
The final dish before the main Hanwoo course was a capellini pasta with uni, aged kimchi, Hanwoo, and octopus in a yuzu-scented sauce. The tender octopus and delicate noodles melded beautifully with the sauce – absolutely delicious.

Finally, the main Hanwoo beef course arrived. What makes WOOARA special among Yeouido restaurants is the individual brazier provided to each guest. You can grill the beef to your exact preference, cooking it as much or as little as you like.

The Hanwoo came with rice, seaweed soup, and side dishes in a traditional Korean spread. The seaweed soup had remarkable depth of flavor. Fresh kimchi and salted seafood complemented everything perfectly, and rice and banchan were all refillable so you could eat generously. Having your own brazier to cook the meat at your own pace was a wonderful touch.

To finish the meal, dessert arrived, and because we'd mentioned it was a special occasion when we made our reservation, they added a message in lettering. They also took a Polaroid photo for us and provided champagne – it made the experience truly memorable. These thoughtful details make WOOARA perfect for anniversaries, engagement dinners, or any important celebration.
