I recently revisited GOWOOGA Yeouido for a special lunch meeting with a close friend, and I was thoroughly impressed by how refined their Hanwoo omakase experience has become. Having first dined here two years ago, I noticed the menu had evolved with seasonal offerings while maintaining the private room atmosphere that makes every meal feel intimate and relaxed. As a business dinner restaurant in Yeouido Seoul, GOWOOGA checks all the boxes for an upscale dining experience.

When searching for lunch spots in Yeouido, parking and reservations are always major concerns. GOWOOGA solves both problems effortlessly, which is why I find myself returning here regularly. Whether you're planning an anniversary dinner, family gathering, or important business meeting, this Korean beef restaurant delivers exceptional quality and ambiance that never disappoints.

GOWOOGA Yeouido is located on the B1 floor of FKI Tower (Federation of Korean Industries building) at 24 Uisadang-daero, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The location is highly convenient, situated near both The Hyundai Seoul and IFC Mall, making it an accessible choice for lunch or dinner appointments in the Yeouido business district.

The building has its own parking garage, which is a huge advantage given Yeouido's notorious parking challenges. Reservations are essential and can be made through Catch Table or by phone. While same-day reservations may be possible, lunch and dinner slots fill up quickly, so I recommend booking at least a few days in advance.

The restaurant displays its menu at the entrance, allowing first-time visitors to preview the offerings before entering. Upon arrival with your reservation, professionally dressed staff members warmly greet you and escort you to your private room.

What sets GOWOOGA apart from other group dinner private room options in Yeouido is that every table is in its own private room, allowing you to converse freely without worrying about neighboring diners. The interior design is elegant and refined, with sophisticated lattice structures creating a tranquil ambiance. Even walking through the corridors, you immediately sense the upscale atmosphere.

Inside the private room, table settings are impeccably arranged according to party size. Menus, tableware, and glassware are pristinely prepared, and coat racks are standard. High chairs and children's utensils are available for families dining with young children, making this a popular venue for family dinners. On a previous visit for a family celebration, we comfortably accommodated a party of ten.

GOWOOGA offers a Signature Course, Lunch A/B/C Courses, and Regular A/B/C Courses. For this visit, I chose the Lunch C Course, which delivered impressive value and variety.

Lunch C Course includes:

While 80g of beef might sound modest, the supporting dishes are so substantial that I left completely satisfied. Even upgrading Lunch A Course by just adding the Gowoodam platter creates an excellent meal, so you can choose based on your budget and appetite.

Before the meal, guests select between sparkling wine or grape juice. We opted for the grape juice, which had a refreshing, non-alcoholic wine-like quality with pleasant sweetness—perfect as an aperitif.

Before the formal courses began, a staff member presented a dry-ice-filled box containing the day's premium ingredients: Hanwoo beef, lobster, and sea bream. This theatrical introduction immediately elevated our anticipation for the meal ahead.

The Chowdang corn soup opened the meal beautifully, awakening the palate with rich corn sweetness and nuttiness. A delicate truffle garnish added aromatic depth. The bowl was deeper than expected, providing a generous portion, and the silky texture earned immediate approval from everyone at the table.

Gowoodam is GOWOOGA's signature small plates platter featuring lobster, beef tartare taco, and crispy seaweed preparations on one artistic plate. Staff recommended eating from left to right to experience the intended flavor progression. Each component was meticulously prepared and photogenic. The lobster's bouncy texture, the tartare taco's rich umami, and the seaweed's crispness each offered distinct pleasures.

The abalone dish was the most memorable course for me. Abalone was paired with white wood ear mushrooms, braised radish, and basil oil sauce. The braised radish was exceptional—I was amazed by how tender and deeply flavored it was. When you combine abalone, mushroom, and radish in one spoonful, the textures and flavors layer harmoniously. The white wood ear mushroom was new to me, with a uniquely chewy yet tender texture.

Perilla oil Hanwoo noodles featured capellini-thin strands in a cold noodle style. The nutty perilla oil complemented the Hanwoo beautifully, and the refreshing broth cleansed the palate perfectly, preparing us for the main course.

The premium Hanwoo grilled beef arrived with ceremony befitting the star dish. Staff grilled each piece tableside while explaining the cuts and cooking techniques. As you'd expect from the best Korean BBQ in Yeouido, the beef quality was outstanding—juicy, tender, and rich with savory depth. We savored each piece slowly. The 80g portion, which I initially worried might be insufficient, proved perfectly calibrated given the preceding courses.

The sea bream rice pot arrived steaming hot, with the delicate fish flavor infused throughout the rice. We even enjoyed the crispy rice at the bottom, making for a hearty conclusion. Dessert provided a light finish, rounding out an exceptionally well-composed course.

GOWOOGA's service is meticulous and attentive. Staff members are professional yet warm, providing detailed explanations for each course. Timing between dishes is expertly managed, ensuring a comfortable dining pace without long waits.

Reservations can be made through Catch Table or by phone. Weekends and dinner service are particularly popular, so booking at least one week in advance is advisable. Even lunch slots fill quickly with business meetings and company dinners, so advance reservations are strongly recommended.

Parking is available in the building's underground garage, and the restaurant validates parking, so be sure to ask about discounts when you visit. If dining with children, inform the staff when booking so they can prepare high chairs and children's utensils in advance.

GOWOOGA Yeouido excels in multiple dining scenarios, making it one of the most versatile Korean beef restaurants in the area.

The restaurant's sophisticated atmosphere and impeccable service make it particularly suitable for important occasions like engagement dinners where first impressions matter.

Returning to GOWOOGA Yeouido after two years, I found the experience even more refined than I remembered. The lunch course delivered exceptional value across every dimension: composition, flavor, and service. If you're searching for a group dinner private room in Yeouido, I can recommend GOWOOGA without hesitation.

The private room setup makes it ideal for important business meetings and family celebrations alike, while convenient parking and reservation systems remove the typical Yeouido dining stress. I'm already planning to return for their dinner course. Whether celebrating a milestone or simply treating yourself to something special, GOWOOGA Yeouido delivers an experience worth savoring.
